Finding new fun dates to go on with your significant other gets hard especially after some time together. I have put together 10 fun Utah date ideas. There are a range of dates to explore all of what Utah has to offer all while having an adventure together! I am Utah born and raised and love this state. I will say that I have done and explored a lot of the state so here are my top 10 fun Utah date ideas!

1. Go to Antique Stores
We love to go and explore antique stores in Utah. I have so many cool vintage finds that I use as home decor that we have found antiquing. Jitter Bug is so fun to go to and see old toys from your childhood! Then get dinner at some new hip restaurant in Salt Lake haha there are lots of them!

2. Go for a Hike
Stewart Falls
Stewart Falls hike starts behind Aspen grove. Parking costs $6 for a three day pass. This is such a fun and easy hike to do. It is about 3.5 miles there and back and leads to a 200+ feet high waterfall. It is so fun and is easily one of my favorite fun Utah date ideas.
Timpanogos Cave National Monument
This is such a fun and unique place to go in Utah county. It is up American Fork Canyon and is a US National Monument. You can hike to them and do their caving tour. It costs $22 per person and they provide a caving helmet and headlamp. Here is more information on how to get on the tour.
Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge
This hike leads to a cool bridge in Bear Canyon. It is a fairly easy hike spanning 2 miles out and back.
3. Go for a Moonlight Ski Lift Ride
Sundance Ski Resort does full moon lift rides. It is so fun to go on a ski lift rides up the moonlit mountains. Eric and I have done this many times throughout the years. We started in high school so it is kind of a fun tradition. Also a fun group date because you also get some alone time as a couple. Here is more information including dates etc.
4. Ride Alpine Slide in Park City
This is probably the most fun Utah date idea because you get to ride a 3000 feet slide down the mountain. See updated hours and pricing here. Then spend time roaming Park City Main Street.There are great places to eat and you make sneak a peek at a celebrity if you get lucky!
5. Learn How to Sail on Utah Lake
How fun would learning how to sail be? Bonneville School of Sailing teaches their Discover Sailing class on Utah Lake for $99 per person. To schedule call 801-636-5204. For more information click here. I haven’t done this yet but plan on learning this summer! I think it also would be the perfect gift for my husband’s birthday or Father’s Day. 6. Drive-In Movie

My family loves Mt. Pleasant! It is such a pretty place and they have a drive in! Here is what they are showing currently. And when you go down to Mt. Pleasant- drive through Fairview on the way there or back. There are 2 ways to get to Mt. Pleasant that are about the same distance and one goes through Fairview and the other doesn’t. So go through Fairview and go to our favorite little restaurant. There is the cutest place that used to be an old gas station that is now called The Corner Station. Yummy sandwiches and specialty drinks. In the summer we go down there at least once a month. A hidden gem!

7. Rent Tandem Bikes and Ride Up Provo Canyon and Visit a Farmers Market After
Another fun Utah date ideas is to go biking up Provo Canyon! You can rent a tandem bike from BYU Outdoors Limited for $25 here. If farmers markets are in season it is fun to ride there and buy local foods and fresh fruit. When it is peach season I love going to the Lavell Edwards Stadium Farmers market and buying some for peach pie! They will run the farmers market from August-Oct. Here is more information.
8. Game Night or Karaoke on Provo Center Street
Center Street in Provo, Utah has a lot to offer! They have fun entertainment and great foodie options for all you foodies!

This fun date ideas in Utah involves games! Good Move Cafe has any game that you could think of! It only costs $5 to get in and if you order food they take $1 off your check for each food item ordered. Their food is pretty good too! Try the nachos!
Heart & Seoul Karaoke

I love karaoke and this would be so fun to do with your date! It would be a great ice breaker or to just hang out and sing. They do have food as well as drinks! It costs $8 per person per hour.
Both of these fun utah date ideas could be group dates as well and might be more fun with other couples! I have been to a bachelorette party at Heart & Seoul and it was a blast! I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time- good for the soul!
9. Go to a Concert
This may be a tough one in 2020, but I have hope that we will be able to go to a concert again this summer. Here is a resource to find concerts near Utah.
I also just use google to search for concerts coming up in Utah and it can take you to google events.
10. Tube Down the Provo River and Eat at Mama Chu’s
I have lived by the Provo River my entire life and this is one of my favorite things to do. The view is gorgeous floating down the river. It is also a very mild river so it isn’t scary and is even great for families. High Country Adventure hosts this activity and provides an intertube. It costs $25 for a single tube or $50 for a double tube.
Book this fun Utah date idea here. The price includes a ride in one of their busses that takes you farther up the river to start the float. The float lasts about 2 hours. It is hard to do on your own because you will need to drive up the canyon to start so go through a ride place unless you have a friend that can drive you up to the top. But there is also an important place to get out so it is good to go with a guide if you have never done it especially.
For dinner afterwards, at the pit of the canyon there is a little Mexican restaurant that is a gem. Mama Chu’s! They have daily specials that are super inexpensive and it’s good food to have after a day in the sun. I would recommend their chicken enchiladas!

I hope you enjoy these fun Utah date ideas! We all too often just go to dinner or dinner and a movie. Next time we are in a dating rut I am going to go back to this list!
