We did it! We tackled family photos! I have been SO excited to get family photos done. I’ve been wanting them for awhile but wanted to wait until we were a family of four! So crazy saying that. I can’t believe this is my little family. I remember all the years praying for what I have now and I am just SO grateful. Count my blessing and my lucky stars. When it came to family photos- I knew where I wanted to take them and I am excited to share the best Utah photography location.

The other thing I knew was that I KNEW I wanted Hanna to take the photos. Hanna is amazing and the only person I will use for photos. She makes us so comfortable and has the best eye! She does weddings and family sessions like this. I’ve linked to her Instagram so you can see for yourself how amazing she is!

How to Find the Best Utah Photography Location

Can’t stop staring at them? Me either! I am deciding what ones I want to print and then I am going to put them on the wall in my office. I have a shelf and some empty gold frames that have just been waiting for this!

So if you are looking for the best Utah photography location this is it! This dreamy spot is located in Provo Canyon. There are some wildflowers here and there too with yellow flowers that are blooming now- around Memorial Day. It is also really green there right now which is a plus. I had been waiting to get photos done until it was green. The day we went it was really windy so that is kinda why it looks hazy. My bangs hated the wind but I love how they turned out and the moody feel the wind gave the photos!

Directions to the Parking Lot

If you are wanting to find the best Utah photography location here is what you do! So these photos were taken at a lookout on the Squaw Peak Road. Here is how you find it! So if you are headed up Provo Canyon- after about 2 miles you will turn right onto Squaw Peak Road. Squaw Peak is a lookout destinations that has amazing views of the valley. It is also a really popular make out place haha.

Anyway so after about a mile you will see a turn off that goes into a big parking lot. It is right after the gun club. Only about a few yards after the gun club and you will turn left into the parking lot. Get out and walk around, there is kinda a little worn trail. There are so many amazing different angles. You can get more mountain shots or green shots etc. It is a great place to get a good mix! The last couple years it has kind of become a popular place but still somewhere not everyone knows about. It is sentimental to me for sure since I grew up in Provo Canyon!

Here is the link to my shoes- I looove them! So comfy!

Boden’s shoes I have about 20 pairs of these between him and Beck. They are the best baby/toddler shoes. They stay on and match so much. I have been a fan for years!

Thanks again Hanna for the best photos! I couldn’t love them more!
