Fun Things to do with Your Friends at Home- Digital Games
There is an app my friends and I have been loving called Houseparty. The way Houseparty is set up is awesome. You can play games with friends over video. So if you are looking for things to do on facetime with your friends than try this instead! There is trivia, drawing and it is all fun current trending people and things. Houseparty app has a game called Chips & Guac that is like Apples to Apples. That one is my favorite and really funny!
Have you played the game Heads Up? It is sooo fun for gatherings! So whether you are looking for fun things to do with your friends at home or virtual fun this one works both ways! It is for sure a fun game to play over facetime and then when this craziness is over it is the best party game.
There are a lot of fun games to play on Zoom too! It is extra fun now with all the Zoom virtual background options! My whole extended family has a weekly Zoom where we catch up and there is a weekly theme. Last week my uncle mailed everyone paddles that were white boards and we played a trivia game where we all had to guess and show our answer. It was really fun!
Another fun game you could play on Zoom would be BINGO! The prizes could even be funny IOU’s. I don’t drink but I could see that a drinking game would be a funny things to do on facetime with your friends. Classic games like charades and pictionary are also winners!
Activities
Another fun thing you can do with your friends at home is to have a bake off! My mom did this with some of her friends and it was so fun to see the photos. She dropped off a cake mix and a can of white frosting to everyone. From there everyone was able to create whatever masterpiece they wanted. There were so many different creative things. Some people did cupcakes and others cakes.
Some more fun things to do with your friends at home could be social distancing on your front yard if it is a quarantine situation. A driveway chalk art competition would be a blast with friends! Either having a theme or just chalking whatever comes to mind!
