I have always stressed and had some anxiety about there not being enough hours in the day. I am a dreamer & always want to do so many things but don’t find or make the time to do it. I have realized that this is something that I can work on. This year I have really been trying to work on time management and how to make it work. I think it’s crazy to think about how we all have the same 24 hours in the day but there are people getting so much done. It is hard not to think about how they are doing it & I can’t seem to get my stuff together haha. I have read a bunch of things on Pinterest & nothing really was sticking.

I kinda felt like I was running around with my head chopped off & doing a lot but also a whole lot of nothing. I went to a conference with my father in law that he had been to multiple times & my husband went to in the past too. Eric told me that it would help me with time management & it for sure did! So the conference is called Becoming Your Best & it is great. I learned a lot but the most important thing was pre-week planning. Let me share a little about what this means!

So we all have different aspects of our life that we want to work on. Each person defines the roles that matter most to them. That way you are focusing on all aspects of your life & feel like you are getting stuff done all around. My roles I focus on weekly are wife, mother, boss babe aka work, social/friend, church responsibilities. I like to color coat them so I can see what goes where & where I am spending my time. So the idea is that on Saturday/ Sunday you plan your upcoming week. You can schedule things on the monthly planner when they come up so you don’t forget but you only plan a week at a time so you don’t get overwhelmed. So when you are planning you look at what you have going on & add them to your roles at the top of the week. Then you schedule it in & plan your week. So I do it on my own & so does Eric & then we plan together so we both know what is going on & what is happening during the week. It helps us a lot because sometimes we forget to tell each other whats happening. I hope these photos do this process justice. Planning like this has helped me sooo much that I am truly passionate about sharing this with you. I asked on my Instagram stories a few months ago how people manage their time & a lot of people messaged back saying when you find out let me know haha. Here are the outside of the new planners! I love the leather look! The price of these planners is for sure worth it. With cheap planners I buy at Target I use them here & there but not effectively.
