Bear Lake & an AMAZING GIVEAWAY!

Have you been to Bear Lake before?? It is on the Utah-Idaho border and the cutest little town Garden City is located on the Utah side. I grew up going to Bear Lake here and there either camping or staying at a friends cabin etc. It was so fun to go as a family for the first time & we loved bringing a #postcardpitstop postcard with us! Bear Lake is known for their raspberry shakes! Well their raspberries in general. They are sooo good! They even have a Raspberry square & do raspberry days in the summer. I highly recommend getting a raspberry shake at La Beau’s & adding Oreo to it! What isn’t better when you add chocolate haha?

Enough about food haha I want to share about why this was by far the best Bear Lake trip! We had great company- Eric’s brother & his cute new wife come with us & Beck is crazy about them! It was a rainy weekend that was so cozy & the leaves were amazing! I had only ever been to Bear Lake in the summer but I definitely liked October just as much!

But the real reason our trip was above & beyond is because of where we stayed! This Modern Farmhouse is seriously unlike anything I have ever seen before! It is totally something Joanna Gaines would approve of if she didn’t decorate it herself.

There are so many things that make this home so amazing- I don’t even know where to start! So first of all the house is huge! It is the dream family reunion destination! You can rent one house that sleeps 45 or there is another brand new farmhouse right next to it that also sleeps 45- so you can totally rent both & have a crazy amazing reunion for 90 people!

I love the kitchen & can totally imagine everyone gathered around cooking & laughing. I love the giant dining tables & that they have high chairs, barstools & more. There are amazing playrooms, bunk rooms & the cutest bathrooms you ever did see! Beck loved playing on the slide & rock wall- it is seriously so fun! They have everything you could ever dream of- washer & dryer, fast wifi, lots of parking etc. I’ll let the pictures talk because they show a glimpse of how amazing it is!

The extra amenities of this house are amazing- they have bikes you can ride, paddle boards, yard games, a movie room, game rooms & more! The location is also so amazing. The homes are close to the water, right by a bike path & just perfect in every way.

I can’t share enough about how amazing this place is! I want to go back for a big family reunion! I seriously can’t imagine a better place to stay with a group- an amazing location & just everything you could dream of to make your vacation a hit!

Something else I love about these farmhouses is that they have separate apartments over the garages that sleep 6. That is where we stayed & these photos below are of the apartment. It was just as nice & cute as the big house! There are 2 bedrooms, a little kitchenette, a large bathroom & a big pull out couch.
